Day 2:
Woke up bright and early to a neighbor talking on their patio. We had a window open in the room that was hidden by a shutter all week and we didn't realize it was open until 2 days before we left. Apparently our neighbors were VERY early risers, thus so were we! It is really nice to be able to sit out on the patio each morning and just chill before the day begins.
That morning I walked with Andolyn and Laurie up to Cafe Tropical and got some coffee. It was a beautiful, hot day, so we were excited to spend it at the beach and pool.
We decided to start out at the pool, as the view from the pool was awesome. There is an infinity pool, which is a great spot to people watch!

The view from inside the pool.
We walked down to Bad Boyz and spent a few hours there, swam and had a few drinks. It was fine, nothing exciting as it was early in the day. We planned on going back later that afternoon for the music....but never made it back.
We decided to have an early lunch since we hadn't had breakfast. We wanted to go to the Playa Maya. We were only about 25-20 yards from PM, but it was closed, it looked like they were remodeling. It was open later in our trip....We ended up at the Mosiquito Beach for lunch and drinks...

Laurie and I at lunch.
Ok, my friends thought I was completely insane when I wanted to take food pictures, so I didn't do it---I figured that almost everyone has eaten where we were, so everyone already knew what it looked like, lol. The staff was really attentive and the waiter went to the store up the street to get us Coke Light since they had run out, so that was nice.
After lunch Laurie, Ando, and Jane wanted to go do a little shopping and tour the rooms at the Mosquito Blue. Trish and I went back to the pool, then decided to walk up the street to get rafts for the pool. We found a store across from the Tequilaria and they blew them up for us after a generous tip, lol. We picked up more Bud Light and Coors Light and headed back to the pool. I love a town where you can buy single cans and shop/drink---it is great!

Trish and I at the pool.
The girls were gone for awhile and by the time they got back we already had a good buzz going

After that it was beer and sunshine all afternoon long!

Ando in the pool.
We had such a good time and met some of the other guests at LE. There were a few families with smaller children....when they came to the pool we went to the beach. I know that sounds weird, but all of us had left ours at home for a reason

.
It was getting later and we were trying to decide what to do for dinner when Trish's husband called and her baby had taken a turn for the worst...by baby I mean her 17 month old Shorkie---Maggie, a 5 lb furball. It was pretty dramatic for awhile as the dog flatlined and they had to revive it. It was getting blood transfusions, all kinds of thing! Trish wanted the next flight out....she couldn't leave until the next morning...talk about a buzz kill!!!
That night Ando, Jane and I went to La Parilla to eat dinner....we sat upstairs and had fun watching the people down on 5th and eating yummy fajitas and coconut shrimp, oh and more beer and margaritas. After dinner we walked down towards the BP and went to several really cool bars. I can't remember the names, but they had couches and played really fun music. We plopped down and enjoyed the two for one drinks---I was able to find Absolut Mandarin, so I was a happy camper

. I had left the camera at the condo---so no photo evidence of the evening. We topped the evening off with a few drinks at BP, then pizza from the little place across from OM.
Trish left the condo at 3:30 am to go to the airport....then there were 4.....
