From Cancun Airport to the Lindo $$

Hi...

For anyone who has traveled from the Cancun Airport to the Iberostar Lindo, how much did it cost? Did you take the bus, taxi, private van? How did they charge, was it by the person or just for the mileage? Just trying to find different ways to get there. I've put different words in the search area, but can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Thanks for any help.

Yes...I've read that. But what I'm asking is where, for example, it says
"64 usd for 1 to 6 people
78 usd for 7 to 10 people

Is this 64 usd all together....or 64 usd each? That's where I get a little confused. It's going to be myself and a 10-year-old child. Don't mind taking the bus, just looking at all my options.

The $64 or $78 is for the size of the van. So $64 whether there's one or six people, the more there are the cheaper per person. As you're going to IB is transfer not included with your package? Or did you book resort and air separately?

64 usd for up to 6 people....It will be a private van and take you straight there...No hassle!!! I have used it and it is very tuff to beat....

From the beach in Cancun to the Lindo, I was able to haggle it for $20 (although others will request $30). I would suspect the airport would be fairly close to the same distance, but certainly less than $64.

The other option you could consider is taking the 'Collectivos' (public 12 seater van - air conditioned), although I'm not sure they run to the airport? I do know that a collectivo from the Lindo to downtown Cancun is approximately 20 Pesos ($2)/each.

springlove - if you book the resort and air together through like an agent the transportation should be free and included.

we are going next week, sept 9 cancun valet is charging $110 round trip
