I can’t remember seeing many high chairs in Playa. Some places must have them, but I don’t remember seeing any. I do remember that when our kids where that age and we traveled in Yucatan and had to learn to do without high chairs. Playa is much more sophisticated than rural Yucatan but you may need to think about what your plan B is. You will find the restaurant staff will generally be very enthusiastic and helpful regarding your kids. It is not like visiting Paris or even San Francisco, where you can get ejected from a “good” restaurant for bringing a child (yes we’ve been there and done that).

Thanks for posting this, we've been training our soon to be 3 year old to just sit at table and chairs. But you know how it is, you kind of want to strap them to something at this age just so you can eat. When are you visiting?

Thanks for all your advise. We will be there September 10th for a week and can't wait. This is the first long trip with the kids. And although they will love it, I have a feeling it will be quite an adventure for my husband and I with the two little ones!
