add to your schedule of events some positive thoughts for the people in Florida and Beslan,Russia... it's not gonna be a pretty weekend for them

Happy & safe weekend for all! Unfortunately, I am stuck working the holiday. No problem though, extra cash to go to my Playa Trip fund.

Thought I heard on the radio this morning that the swat team went in, some injuries among the students, and some of the captors managed to escape.

latest is over 100 dead, some still being held captive, some militants surrounded in a house... hopefully the special forces guys don't show much mercy on this one, shooting kids in the back... what losers, definitely calls for bullets soaked in bacon fat

Not to worry, Scott. I believe there's a special place in Hell for these kind of people.

Despite the graveness of the stories in the news this week, I hope everyone has a safe and happy Labo(u)r Day weekend. I for one plane to avoid the TV and the newspapers and enjoy my friends and family.

Added bonus for us is a big fireworks display Sunday night because it was rained out on the fourth of July.

Be Safe.

Our local paper did a story on a woman who had been hostage with her children - a 6 year old girl and a 2 year old boy. They let her take her son out, but at this point we don't know the fate of the daughter. They made her choose which one she was taking out. She said that as she was leaving, her daughter was crying and clinging to her, and she had to leave her behind. God.

That just gives me chills. How would you ever pick? Ever see Sophie's Choice?
