I don't see where the mods are being hassled by the volume of reported posts, basically, 50% are from one member and are directed at another member because of general dislike and not because the "offender" actually directed any comment whatsoever at the "offended" ....... I generally ignore those reports because I feel if the comment was directed at a certain member, THEY should be reporting it, not someone else just assuming it was offensive to the member the post was directed at........ from there, about 35% are spam reports..... the remaining 15% are generally acted upon in some way, usually by locking the thread and letting ego's chill out....... the most recent valid reports by a couple of long term members resulted in a thread being deleted due to the establishment of a second identity.......I did not want to just lock the thread because it seemed that would almost be taken as toleration of a prohibited activity........so, in short, please keep reporting posts you find offensive, and keep sending me PM's telling me how unfair and inconsistent I am in moderation of this loony bin and I will continue not losing sleep over any of it
