This is probably premature,but when you Fla. folks,barbjo50,joanieBlon,Doris & Fernanda get power back & your feet back under you,give us a shout that you're O.K. Or reasonably so! We care.

power back on in fort lauderdale as of tuesday - sat in the dark with shutters since friday with no power. but plenty of ice and heinekins - it's all good.

I'm so glad you're O.K. Have heard from just about all who were in danger.

Hope Ivan goes elsewhere,weakening fast & dies. Unfortunately I have friends in Jamaica,Texas & Louisana too,& I can't wish devastation on anyone.
