still in the renovation stage, but open for busiess. :-) I will try to take some pics when it is ready. Looks very nice and am sure will do very well... buena suerte!!!

I can't believe I didn't take a picture when I was there. We had coffee there 3 of the 5 mornings and it was great. (We had coffee at our hotel the first morning and HOT! Baking Company the 2nd morning.) Our first visit to Playa and so nice for us Seattlelites to have such good coffee to enjoy. Met Ronnie and Joel and they are very nice! Thanks to Ronnie for pointing us to a great place to snorkel and have lunch down at Akumal, too. Look forward to seeing pictures of Java Joe's all finished and returning to have more coffee!

Thanks Mindz! That's just how I remember it......I suppose I can even order that print for my scrapbook. It'll be nice to see an updated photo when Java's Joe's remodel is complete. Congrats Joel and Ronnie on the new digs!

We were there last week and all seems to be up and running fine, including the locals hanging out and having a chat. The coffee was great as were the croissants!

I was in Playa this past summer with my wife, and I had the oppurtunity to meet Joe, and his wife. Joe, if you read this I am the brother who wore the Philadelphia Eagles jersey - number five to be exact!

It was to say the least a wonderful experience. The funny thing is I met one of my cowerkers, who happens to be a Northwest Airlines crew member. Joe, congrats on the new digs!

I plan on getting down there some time soon, and I will be in to say WHAT"S HAPPENING.
