Java Joe's New Location

Ronnie and Joel are moving shop! As of today, their 5th Avenue location is closed but they'll be opening their new shop on the newly bricked and booming 10th Street (near La Ranita, across from Babes) between 5th and 10th Avenues in about three weeks.

The new larger location will provide alot more morning hangout space to hear all the usual gossip.

we saw them moving the equip...but missed out on the Java while we were there!!!!

Wow, they did it on schedule!!When we were last there in June, they said they were supposed to be finished in September...but in Playa who counts on construction schedules?
Look forward to starting the day with them in a new spot when we're down next month.

Your saying we can no longer walk down the stairs of the Deseo for our Iced Blended Mocha just twenty feet away. We have to go all the way down to tenth. Do they Deliver? Just kidding. Hope they have great success at the new location. But will miss seeing all the regulars at the old location lined up each morning with their papers and coffee in discussion.

The new location of Java Joe's is now open, and I think we saw it open yesterday on it's first day (it was packed!). I'm guessing this as when we had breakfast at HOT! on Tuesday it was not there, and poof, Wednesday morning it was! Good luck to them on their new location, and I hope all the construction around them is completed soon. What a mess!

We also saw that it was opened, as we too went to HOT! on Wednesday for some breakfast. I had to go across to get some coffee from them. Yeah, that construction next door to them was messy, but we walked by again on Sat, and they really made some quick progress.
