Your most embarassing Playa moment

Okay, I was off-topic in the other forum, so I decided to come over here and start a whole new thread. What was your most embarassing moment every in Playa??

(no, Tommy, dropping Tequilla at your own house doesn't count, it has to be in Playa...)

So, guess I should start with mine......

It was our first ever trip, in fact, our first every trip ANYWHERE out of our home province for me and John. We didn't even have a honeymoon! We left the kids at home, and we were staying at the Viva Azteca in Playa. Well, one night we spent the entire evening at the all-you-can-drink night at Senor Frogs in Playa, and I put back WAY too many margaritas and WAY TOO MUCH TEQUILA. I even entered the beer drinking contest that night (and WON, I might add!). We headed back to our hotel around 2am, and I was pretty drunk. Now, I'm pretty loud when I'm STRAIGHT, so I kinda' get amplified when I've had a bit to drink. I decided that we were going to go skinny dipping in the Caribbean. I dragged John down to the beach, stripped down naked, threw my clothes on a lounger, and ran into the water. John stayed in his briefs (guess he wasn't as smashed!). Well, we had some fun, and then came out of the water, and it was pretty dark (and I was pretty drunk, did I mention that?) and I couldn't find the chair I had left my clothes on! John had went ahead to the beach showers to wash the sand off, and I was wandering around on the beach trying to find my clothes. Meanwhile, I heard John laughing his head off. I'm like, What?! What the heck are you laughing at?! And he says, look around!!! And I look up, and there's these three security guards sitting back in the lawnchairs with big smiles on thier faces watching me walk back and forth, buck naked, trying to find my clothes!

WELL...you'd think it couldn't get worse.....

John finds my clothes, and I run up to the shower where they couldn't see me, and I proceed to shower off the sand and talk REEElLLY loud and laugh REEELLY loud about how embarassed I am and all the while John is laughing and telling me "shhhhhh, shhhhhh" and I"m like "WHattt now?!!!" and I look up, and around, and I realize that the shower and pool area i"m in is directly in the middle of all of the rooms and balconies of the hotel buildings, and so anyone in any room of the resort can just look out of their windows and see me standing their naked in the shower. And quite a few of them are! (I'm so embarassed!) I swore, and ran straight to my room. I tell you, breakfast in the buffet in the morning was horrid. I swear, every person was staring and pointing at me. I spent the next day hiding on a loung chair in the corner of the beach under a palapa where no one would see me.

yikes.

oh, and I don't drink tequila anymore.

Hmmmm....

The first time we went to Playa, we ended up getting married. After our somewhat impromtu wedding, Corey and I were, ummm, just lying around without any clothes on, on the bed in our poolside room at the Porto Real. I got up and started jumping on the bed until Corey pointed out that there was security guard out on the beach, looking right into our room.....

The day after our wedding, I got to swim with the dolphins at Xcaret as a wedding present, and when I did the trick where the dolpins push you through the water and you stand up, my swimsuit bottoms came down and everyone laughed and clapped. And when the guy came to help me take my lifevest off, he unclasped it only to find my boob sticking out of my swimsuit top (man, that suit was way too big for me).

This year we spent one day at Playa Tukan beach club, and I went to use the bathroom. The lock is kind of tricky, and I couldn't get out of the bathroom, and I started panicking and turning the lock and pulling at the door and cussing until some woman, whose first language wasn't English, explained to me from outside how to get the door unlocked.

But I have a funny feeling that after our trip 2/26-3/5/05, I might have one ....

I think sometimes about the story someone posted here months ago about the guy who pooped his shorts and was staggering down 5th. Man, if that's not his most embarrassing moment, than I can't even imagine what would be.

3rd most embarrassing moment

Having mckinzie show up at one of our parties without any food or drinks and tell me about how much beer he and his friends have in their refrigerator. (I’m happy to learn he is working on a plan for redemption).

2nd most embarrassing moment

Saying good-bye to Tyra after one of our parties and watching her trip over our sidewalk. (still hurts to think about it).

1st most embarrassing moment

Having Michele figure out who told her husband about the pharmacy post. Probably will happen during one of our parties.
