I have a question for some of you computer geeks, that are more of a computer geek that I am. Last night my significant other tried to post a pitcutre on random picture. She couldn't,so I tried to post the picture. I noticed that on the space where you post the picture there isn't any cut or paste buttons, like there is on my space. Even though I pressed avanced change, the buttons still did not appear. What could be the problem?

Are you using the same computer? If so, I would compare the settings in your PDC-profiles. Otherwise check Java- and Internet-settings on your PC's whether they are the same (not sure though whether Java has anything to do with it, just guessing).

Regards
Andrea

What exactly was the setting that you changed?

I have the same problem on 2 different computers.

I can only post images with URLs / web addresses (including attachments on this site under my multimedia gallery or the very limited attachments space).

I have the same problem. Cannot post my own pics unless I upload to multimedia first.

I don't understand the question......

are you trying to post the picture using standard HTML coding such as this "<"img src=http://cablespeed.com/~mccljp/critters/johnincd.gif">" which comes out in the message like this: <img src=http://cablespeed.com/~mccljp/critters/johnincd.gif> ? (note- you have to remove the quotation marks) or are you trying to use the advanced section of the posting block and link a picture via the tool bar? (the mountain postcard thingie)

ACK! I discovered that I too am having a "problem" inserting an uploaded "attachment" into the test of my forum message. I can insert an "image" if I host it on my own website first...such as:

but I seem unable to cut and paste images into this window, not can I manage to make uploaded gif attachments show here. I cannot find ANY place in my settings to adjust either... hola.gif

Not too big of a deal, as I CAN post pictures, but it's aggrevating to me that I cannot figure this out...

BTW...Can't recall seeing anything from James recently...did Anna go into labor?

Oh yeah. All linked photos must be stored on an internet site that allows 3rd party linking.
