Single travel to Tulum, PDC

I'm a single woman in my late 20s planning on spending about a week in the Tulum/PDC area. Right now I'm thinking about staying at Copal Cabanas. Any idea of other places to stay thay may be better? Any past experience with CC? Any words of advice for the single, female traveller??? Thanks!
