Playa del Carmen, Mexico forum - why do mexician blankets shrink so badly???

I've washed mine in hot water (because my dogs love them) and I've dried them on high for an hour and they've never shrunk on me...well, maybe slightly but certainly not to any degree that is noticeable...especially 1/2 the size!
