Yeah, we all make our choices, don't we, Scotty. Nobody in their right mind likes our winter climate, but at least there's something you can do about it, besides running away to Playa, I mean. I can't say as how Sorels and down-filled parkas are much good against tropical storms and other natural disasters.

I third that. I'll take 100 degree heat, and 70%humidity anyday over an earthquake. I can hide from a tornado, prepare for a hurricane, avoid the snakes and spiders. Those damn earthquakes catch you unprepared.
