1. Scapula. It’s an arm bone. All the others are in the leg. 2. Boxing 3. QRST Increase the number of letters by one each time in the sequence: A (B) C D (E F) G H I (J K L) M N O P (Q R S T) U V W X Y 4. Quebec 5. He is unable to sleep because the person in the adjoining room is snoring loudly. His telephone call wakes the snorer, and he is therefore, able to get to sleep. 6. Pong 7. 180 pets. Cats + Dogs + Hamsters = 1/3 + 1/4 + 1/5 = 47/60. The remainder = 13/60 = the number of goldfish. If 13/60 = 39, then 1/60 = 3 and 60/60 = 180. 8. Apple trees. He was Johnny Appleseed. 9. A triangle. 10. Shaken, not stirred. |
