Some people might say that getting to 10,000 posts on an internet forum is a complete and utter waste of time...
Hmmmm... Let’s see...
Along the way, I’ve made some great friends, gotten into some terrific arguments, gotten some fantastic travel tips, made a second home for my family "south of the border," found some great restaurants, drank an awful lot of beer and tequila, and... Did I mention the friends?
Friends... Hell, more like family to me! Sounds hokey but its true. I’ve been involved in many internet communities over the years, but this crazy place is the closest to an internet family I’ve ever seen! There are joys, celebrations, debates, romances, weddings, tragedies, beginnings, endings... Did I mention the debates?
Long story short, I really would like to put out a heartfelt thanks to the Pope and Queen, James and Anna, as well as all the other mods and caretakers that keep this place chugging along. You guys are awesome and SERIOUSLY overworked and underappreciated!
So back to the original question - was it all a big waste of time?
