I am hosting what used to be our annual Halloween Bash this year. I haven't decided on a costume yet. In the past I have been:

Elvira - here's a pic
A naughty nurse
Tammy Faye Baker
A playboy bunny (how mundane)
A saloon girlie
A french maid
and many others I can't recall

Hubby and I were Popeye and Olive Oil one year...will dig around and see if I can find any pics.

The last time we had a Halloween party I was a witch.

This year only the kids are dressing up...Marissa is going to be a princess and Mack is going to be a Star Wars Clone Trooper.

Last year, I was the Donald.

This year, I want to be Disco Stu from the Simpsons. I can't find a white polyester suit, BUT I have a sweet red corduroy jacket that was my great-grandfathers, and a shirt of his as well. It is brown polyester, with a village print all over it. I've got a lot of his old ties too. If I can find some good pants, shoes and a wig, I'll be set.

Don't have a clue what I'm going to be this year. Still looking for ideas. Just know I want to scare the kids at the door

Don and I are going to a costume party at some friends' place.....I am dressing as a proctologist and he is going as an asshole.

He doesn't even have to dress up!

This is the first year my son is not dressing up for Halloween. I guess that means I will be going as "Mother depressed over how fast they grow up, even while feeling a guilty sense of relief over not having to come up with the perfect costume again". You can rent that costume with or without the Prozac option.

I notice every year around 9 we start to get the 'borderline' kids, about 13 or so....I always give them a little dig about their age and they look sheepish.

He just turned 14. Last year at 13 he must have seem some look on my face, because that's when he told me it would be his last year. Or maybe some mean lady picked on him about his age...
