Internet providers Playacar

So, I have rented a place in Playacar and need advice on Internet service. As far as I have heard, only Telmex can provide high speed (not so high - 10 mbps, actually) Internet there? I live in Cuernavaca at the moment, and have 300 mbps with Totalplay, paying around 2K pesos for 2 phone lines, Internet and a zillion tv channels. I believe Axtel or Maxcom or Cablemas offer optical fibre in Playa?

Tjena Peo!

As far as I know there are no regular way of getting more than 10mbps in Playacar. Or well, I'm actually paying for 10mbps but get around 14. This is, of course, nothing compared to fiber speeds. I think fiber is slowly making it's way here, but the problem is that the Playacar network(s) are quite old and as such getting high speeds are impossible.

Assuming it's the same in both Playacar areas (I live in fase 1), Telmex is the only option.

Perhaps in a few years they will have rebuilt the networks to accommodate fiber cables.

They were working on installing fiber cables in phase II last August. Also, I was told that Cablemas goes as far as Vaiven in Phase II?

Tjena tebax.
I need high speed Internet for work. Have rented an office in Cancun, but would love the option to be able to stay at home a day or two / week. :)

Any developments on the Playacar high speed internet?

I just moved into fase 2 (14/7/17) and the only option was Telmex. I'm getting 4-9mbps and have been told it'll go up to 14 or so in a month. Maybe.
I've heard that some places in playa have fiber optic but I asked telmex for a map and they said they didn't have one.
I went to Izzi and they said they couldn't provide broadband to where I am in playacar fase 2.
I'd be happy to get the administrators to charge an extra 100pesos a month from people to build a fund for installing fiber. If telmex won't lay the cable then surely we can chip in month by month until we have enough to pay for the hardware. I'd love 200mbps instead of what I'm getting. Am sure it'd increase the value of my apartment too!

Someone who likes to stream football matches or partake in online gaming while one kid iswatching youtube, another is uploading to instagram and the wife is skyping Russia!
Yeah ok it's excessive but it's better than 14maps which doesn't even allow two of the above simultaneously.

I hover around 20mbps with Telmex.
I stream on one TV. My wife streams on another. All the while we are both gobbling up bandwidth on our mobile devices.
Not a glitch.
However, upload speed has always been an issue here.
