ale, the lady running the place is known to some of you,
if you were in town 6 years ago there was a place called īel barī
on 10th street on the way down from 5th to dirty martiniīs,
upstairs rooftop place.
ale and mayte had the bar, chris bolister and brent parkin played
and the rest is history.

for you ladies: the baņos are brand new and clean.

the bar opened less than a week ago, so a few things will have to work itself out,
but they are off to a good start.
come over and help them get going,
you can request music.
the bar is very breezy open on 2 sides plus outdoor tables only covered
by a wooden fence.

I think, that enough for now.
any questions let me know, I will find out and report back.

have a great weekend.

( no, I am not involved in the bar nor related to anybody working there.) :oldman:

The Pearl Jam reference is enough reason to visit for me.:D

breaking news:
I was informed that there will be the official grand opening at 6.30 pm today.
what was I doing there the last nights?

come in time,
half of canada is showing up by 7 pm.
Iīll be there after 7 pm myself,
if you want to watch me get drunk ... or just say hello.

did I quote pearl jam? that was the wine talking. I watch eddie on yt last night
singing some old springsteen songs.
do you have an arrival date yet? late jan or early feb was the last I read somewhere.
whatīs your poison, so I can tell you a price tomorrow? was it rum or vodka,
I canīt remember, the wine put a blurry veil over last high seasonīs monday bbqs.
glad you stay at the same place again, got to know the guy who is running the bar
of the hotel over the last couple of months, heīs cool.
be well, sir, my best to misses r.

this town is funny, if you want to find out what time,
which way and other details the carnival parade goes,
you best time to ask is 2 days after it happens.

it was a good and drunken night.
too many names to mention here, they had between 50 and 70 people at any moment after 8 pm last night,
a long night. the tequla was flowing - on and off free-flowing - and having 3 women behind the bar at all times helped. on and off I counted 6 ladies serving. Iīm sure once everybody recovered there will be pictures on fbook - lots were taken - I though I was at some movie premiere.
I think they are trying to find out the right light for behind the bar,
it was changed 14 times within the first 30 mins I was there and somebody found the switch and the light left a few times for a few seconds ... for the honeymooners, I guess.
