Hi, your inbox is full so sending message here...
Thanks for your info in my post. I was wondering, whether you can help me re IMSS insurance...
We went to IMSS in Playa last week. They told us, that we need only ID, FMM, CURP and a copy of bill. When we asked about fees, they told us that it is free...??? And when I asked about a list of what is covered in the first year, they said that there is no list...that everything is for free...and not to mention any pre medical conditions??? Nothing at all. Unfortunately we are still waiting for our CURP so we couldn't register ourselves today but we were told that we can also register online...see link here: Gestin de Asegurados - Portal DELTA.
It makes me wonder whether they understood us correctly and whether they were really offering us registration at IMSS to have health insurance and be covered...any ideas? Thanks Petra

Hey i took a look at those apartments on 14 calle you mentioned last time 2 days ago across aki and mega and towards santander bank. Is it called Edificio Torres DSL carmen Calle 14 Norte Manzana? The buildings were white/beigish color. I didn't see any sign that said for rent except one that said 3 bedroom available. I did see for sale only. Those apartments look very nice... they all have a balcony.

Hey Bob, I know a guy in playa that always gives me great rates at CIBanco even better than ATM's. You do have to open an account but its really quick and simple, you only need your ID, visa (even if its a tourist visa) and an electric bill. You can make international wire transfers cash checks, if you want you can get a VISA debit card, online banking or you can get cash. e mail me at giovannironci at g mail
