The weather in Playa is rainy. We still enjoyed being there, but it will rain on you, I suggest taking an umbrella. I can not even believe I said that. We still got sun tans, enjoyed the many beaches, and had no problems driving back and forth from Playa to Tulum several times. Enjoy your trip. It is also very humid when the wind dies down.

Hello fellow Texan! Wife and I have been visiting Play del Carmen since early 80s. Planning last minute get away from Dallas (around 15th) ..if its gonna be hot, rather be on the beach w toes in the sand. Any weather updates?
