Hi there, Yes we remember you well. We have been back to Playa every year since, but next time (feb 17th, 2013) we will be staying on Isla Mujeres. We have moved as well. Out to 0 Avenue and 216th St in South Langley. John is now retired as his health has taken a turn for the worse. He was diagnosed with Stage IV Prostate cancer 3 yrs ago. Been going through non-stop and on-going treatments for that. All things considered he is doing better than expected, so we are taking nothing for granted and enjoying whatever time he has. We also tied the knot this past June. Very small, family and a few friends. This trip to Isla will be our belated honeymoon since John was doing chemo right after the wedding. We'll be going with our best friends, so really looking forward to that. Just a short trip though (9 days). John doesn't have as much energy anymore, but his sick sense of humour is still going strong! Our new avatar pic is our wedding pic.

this is weird, but I've just read your message from 2009!
I guess a little water has passed under the bridge since then!
After we got back from Playa we worked on selling the house. Moved to Toronto. Moved back here to White Rock in 2010, moved house again this year and are finally thinking of getting back down south again.
You're probably wondering "who the whotnot are these people?" Good question! Old Brit, grey hair, tall and skinny, with a lovely looking Philippine missus. We probably got to know each other on those gatherings in Playa that were posted on this site, and got on ok.
Anyway, we'd love to hear back from you - within the next few years!! and hear how things are with you. I see you still use this site so are you planning to head down again?
