I'm a newbie...thanks from Canada for befriending w/ me!

We may pick this resort for a March trip, but am concerned about 2 things - the "whales" does this beach have them?- and only getting 1 dinner from anywhere but the buffet, is that a rule at the Yucatan? How is that "all-inclusive"?

...the riu yucatan is a wonderful resort...we love it...really, it is home for us...the pools are beautiful...it is on the beach, you can dine looking out over the surf (mexican restaurant and steakhouse), and you can sit by the pool and look over the beach...15-20 minute walk to playa...5 minute/$5US cab ride...the riu reception will call a cab for you...my first trip to the yucatan was with a gal friend of mine...we had a great time...any other questions, please give me a shout!...

Can you share your information about the Riu Yucatan with me. please. I am going on a trip with at least 10 women in Feb and need to find a great resort. Can you tell me if the pool is nice, is it close to the beach, restaraunts?, proximity to Playa (a must)....help
