sorry i just noticed your reply, i did not get a lot of answers yet, can one get to the restaurant on punta venado easily? i always have a car so transport is no issue. i would really like to fish the shoreline north of paamul also, and i note that access is pretty scarce, is it possible to go north of the new homes next to paamul with a vehicle ? i know dave(so called mayor) gave me a short ride last year as i was walking back south and i really enjoyed visiting with him. i spend a lot of time fishing and bring 40 pounds of gear every year so i can go crazy fishing. i usually stop once or twice in paamul every year and hang out for the afternoon. we are scheduled to go apr26 to may 11 this year and i am getting itchy now, can't wait. thanks rick

Hi, did you get your questions answered about Paamul? We bought a palapa there and secured a lot in the new development. We have since built our house and have our palapa for sale (pretty cheap). WE know the restaurant north up the coast line. Punto Venado. Great Italian (authentic) restaurant and beach bar. The path north is called Yanten and the Paamul residents frequent it. we have gone past the closed road and it is a private property that caretakers live on. Because we are new to Paamul I am sure changes have and are being made. that is life and we feel we are very fortunate to have such a lovely place to winter in. WE hope to get better acquainted with the folks there but already have some great friends who we feel we will have for the long haul.
