I noticed your advice re: finding an apartment....I am hoping to find a long term lease here or close to Playa....the locals tell me I need to find a local to do that with...or pay turista prices. How does one find an agent that has the inside track...I plan to stay here and am looking for something in the $600 Can. range...

Hey thanks for the heads up. Have you heard any suggestions for other places or people/agents? I am thinking I will rent for 1-2 months and in that time get to know the area and then find a place my self by walking around and calling numbers on for rent signs.
