Hi, i've read some of your posts and you seem pretty knowledgeable about the non-tourist areas. Would you happen to know approx what rent is like for the locals? I'll be coming with my cousin (looking for work as horse handler or general granja work) and are looking for a small place near a tianguis for food and preferably a tortilleria with fresh ground handmade tortillas.

Greetings from Austin, Texas! I noticed a while back that you replied to several posts about the La Palapa Hemingway Restaurant in PDC. Do you know if it has re-opened for business or has it closed? If closed, whatever happened to their lease space? Is another restaurant operating in their old location?
