Though you'll not find gold or chests of money, what you will find at Posada del Capitán Lafitte is all of the natural riches this area has to offer: the dazzling turquoise sea, white sand beaches, and the tranquility and serenity for which the Riviera Maya has become known.
This rustic, no-frills hotel's focus is all about the beach, and when you see their incredible 300 meters of beachfront you'll know why - that's almost 1,000 feet of primo sand! Each room has a Sea view, a King or 2 Double beds, 2 sun loungers, and a palapa umbrella. That's right, folks: no annoying towel game here.
Although it has only 58 rooms, Capitán Lafitte employs 50 staff members, 40 of whom live on site and have worked at the hotel for many years (minimum 4 years!). This ratio ensures the kind of personal attention that will make you feel more like a visiting family member than a guest. The fact that many visitors return year after year is great testimony to the "everyone is family" atmosphere the staff provides.
