Leaky showers! Except Room 101

Hotel Paradise – located on the corner of Ave 10 and Street 22, this is a comfortable hotel owned by Germans who also speak English and Spanish. We were there in low season and paid 440 pesos a night for a room with 2 double beds, private bath w/hot water, air conditioning and cable TV. They have a nice pool in an inner courtyard. You have to supply your own bottled water, but there is a convenient mini-super 1 block east. My only beef about this hotel is their plastic-walled showers, which ALWAYS leak all over the bathroom floor - except in Room 101. They take cash only at the front desk. It’s in a new and fun area of town with little hotels and restaurants around every corner. It all has sort of a bohemian feel to it. Contrary to the info on the website, there is no restaurant on the premises. www.hotel-paradise.com
