Sold mainly in southeastern Mexico, León® is a Munich style beer, dark with a full bouquet and body. In November 1999, its new image was introduced to the market. Is currently produced at the Cía. Cervecera del Trópico. Although, the brand's main market is the Mexican Southeast, it is also found in other parts of the country, especially in restaurants featuring the cuisine of Yucatán.

Cons: served a little warmer than I like For some reason I didn't like this beer as much as some most of the others reviewed here. Maybe it was because it was not quite as chilled as I would have liked. I can't give it a bad rating, its beer. Next time I will be sure it is good a cold. We piled the empty bottles in the six pack and put them next to the trash for folks to pick up and return.
